Hideo Kojima's masterpiece, the Metal Gear Solid series, is known not only for delivering high quality games but also for outstanding music that come attached with every installment. GamerNode recently held a survey which ultimately led to the victory of Metal Gear Solid's theme performed by the Eminence Orchestra as the number one video games music video clip on YouTube. There is no video game cover on the Internet that tops this one, in my opinion. Take your One-Winged Angels and Zelda Medleys; push aside your Shadow of the Colossi and Vagrant Stories. This has everything done right, and then some. |

MGS IS DA BEST GAME EVA !!!!!!!!!!!!!
If this is to be the best PS3 game ever...Please give Hideo Kojima a reason to have made this an exclusive...Metal gear should retire on the PS3...
w00t! That sounded great.
Little western, little opera, little grand orchestra, little rock and roll,
it's all there...
This could be used as music in ANY game it's so good....
The new zelda hyrule field theme anyone?
loved last part of it. Very moving.
i found the lonely acoustic to be very fitting
they are not actually playing just fooling your mind. the instructor is moving way to fast and too young to move smoothly at all. i can see the cd player in the backgorund. they just it from video gameslive concert, huh.
eat *****
Haha, too young, you idiot.

sorry but you're wrong. easy to mistake though. the part where you messed up was noticing that the conductor is a choir conductor (they suck at conducting) and he's not counting the beat simply waving his hands to prove he has a reason to be their. with that said this group kind of sucks. With such and easy song they should have been able to improve and the more subtle concepts such as presence. The choir was so-so, but thats to be expected of a choir. the band was ok but the orchestra let me down. It wasn't as crisp as it could have been.
The VGL version sounds way different, plus they have the MGS1, not MGS2 version on VGL.
Sorry, but this reminded me of the Star Wars disco theme. I think I'll stick to the original score on my soundtrack CDs.
Yeah its very good musically, but there are so many music videos like this on youtube
is a genius. Harry Gregson-Williams is too. this orchestra? GG...great performance. MGS is a masterpiece...a true work of art.
mgs2 > mgs3
shenmue music > mgs2&3 music
And that's why MGS3 is the only game out of the 3 to have one an VG award for its music/soundtrack. ^_^
Wow, what a great orchestra! Loved it!
The MGS games have always had the best Soundtrack of a game ever. Especially since Harry Gregson-Williams came on board.
MGS has been my fave series of games ever since MGS and the music plays a big part in that. So it's nice to see that other people appreciate the music as much as me!
I can't wait till they release MGS4 version of it, it's gonna be sick.
cool even though i dont know what MGS is :P
look at related videos when this one is done & click on: Metal gear solid 2 (its the 4th one from the left) its a guy playing the Mgs2 theme on the piano.
Wish i could do that q=[
jus to much the power of the synthesizers(or wotever they call it)
