Ó

Enough said.Time flies by so fast, don't it - oh, wait, v1.42 was just very, very recent. And now, just now, Jungle-Cat tips us off that NeoGeo emulators - or the US state of New Jersey">NeoGeo emulators - or the US state of New Jersey">NJ's releasing MVSPSP v1.50. And that this could be, probably will be, the final version of his NeoGeo emu that he's releasing to the public. Maybe.

Okay, it's kinda confusing that the two download files below, the regular MVSPSP v1.50 and the kernel version of the same, would have "final" included with their file names. But translating what NJ had to say on his site using the ever-somewhat-but-not-completely reliable Google weblator: "MVSPSP is renewal end with 1.50." We're kinda leaning with the interpretation that MVSPSP is renewal end, literally, with this latest (and last?) release.

Because the Readme was written in Japanese - and, uh, we don't have Japanese language support in our word processor, so it comes out Egyptian instead - we'll go with what NJ also said at his site which sounds like the changelog or bug list for 1.50 (anyone wanna help us out with this?):

You wrote also in the past, but the fact that it has the case where same period of sound and the picture slips, because noise that tries does not ride especially and the sound which prevent the decrease of effective speed to the utmost to be the result of compromising, because it is specification, please be patient. Because there is no air which you correct, if it seems that becomes matter of concern, this with each one modification.

Download: [MVSPSP v1.50]
Download: [MVSPSP v1.50 kernel mode]

Thank you, Jungle-Cat!

no way jose, that kills speeds, thats how the emulator has been setup prior to ~1.30 and there is a big speed decrease!

Espen, do you have WinZip or WinRAR installed? Just double click the zipped file you downloaded from the link, click on extract in WinZip/WinRAR and it will build the folders for you.

Ok, my error message says crc32 not correct when i start loading the rom, so what is wrong? thanks to anyone out there who can help...

   Re: Info. (Unregistered) - 2006-12-09
 » answers..

That CrC32 error usually pops up when you have placed the rom in the roms folder, but you have not run the Converter to make a cache file of the rom.

For a game you need to have a Rom and a Cache folder for that game. The cache converter program is bundled with the file you downloaded.

Your folders on your memory stick should roughly look like:

--mvspsp
--roms
--neogeo.zip
--kof2002.zip
--cache
--kof2002_cache
--nvram
--music

--mvspsp%
   by Info. (Unregistered) - 2006-12-09
 » Answers

Lets try that again:

--mvspsp
------roms
----------neogeo.zip
----------kof2002.zip
------cache
----------kof2002_cache
------nvram
------music

--mvspsp%
