MVSPSP v2.2.0 - for PSP Slim & Lite - Image 1It seems that Japanese homebrew developer NJ is really back in the scene. It was only yesterday when we learned that he has updated the much-loved Capcom Play System 2 emulator CPS2PSP and made it compatible with the new PSP Slim & Lite.

This time, QJ.NET forum member Ranmax09 has informed us that NJ just did the same to MVSPSP. For those who are not familiar with this emulator, MVSPSP is a program that emulates Neo Geo MVS arcade games on the Sony handheld.

This release, version 2.2.0, utilizes the 64MB RAM in PSP Slim so that caching for games will no longer be needed. NJ mentioned though that some other titles still need to be cached. MVSPSP v2.2.0 comes with a Readme.txt file but we have to remind you that it's written in Japanese.

If you are unsure what to do, it would be wise to consult other users through the PSP Development Forum link below
