The Simpsons video game has been out for weeks now and it's been giving quite a kick to series fans and gamers alike. Even if this Electronic Arts title has been out for a bit now, the festivities haven't stopped yet as footages of The Simpsons game launch party have surfaced. This time, we're seeing The Simpsons creator Matt Groening talking about the game and how he was able to influence it.

In this clip, Groening talks about how he got into the cartoon business and how his team's input was able to shape things in the development process of this multiplatform offering. He also talks about how some game reviews don't make sense and he shares a bit of history to explain how everyone's favorite Homer Simpson expression came to be.

The Simpsons video game made waves across the Sony PlayStation 3, Microsoft Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii, Sony PSP, and the Nintendo DS with true-to-cartoon humor, nice animations, and clever spoofs of popular game franchises.
