Pitchford expressed his concern, stating that he felt it needed somebody who could truly understand its core fantasy. More details on this are available in the full article. |

Fast and furious shooting action, large-scale multiplayer battles, a
tight single-player campaign - these are usually what FPS fans look for
in any entry in what seems to be the genre of the year.
If you're one such person, you might want to check out Medal of Honor: Heroes 2 (PlayStation Portable, Wii) when it hits. This Electronic Arts title has pretty much what we listed above. The game's multiplayer aspect is especially enticing, letting gamers join up with up to 31 other players for some mad online playing action. Both versions of Medal of Honor: Heroes 2 is expected to hit retail in November. In the meantime, check out the new screenshots from the game's PSP version below. It's only been announced recently, but quite a few bits of info about Electronic Arts' Medal of Honor Heroes 2 (PlayStation Portable, Wii) have trickled out. Apparently, both versions will feature some beefed-up multiplayer support. One of our recent posts on the game revealed that 32-player multiplayer games will be available those who purchase either version of the game. Multiplayer fanatics can join in Deathmatches, Team Deathmatches and other modes of play. We don't have any late-breaking news or additional details for the game at this point, but we do have a few screenshots showing off both the Wii and PSP versions of Medal of Honor Heroes 2. You can check out the lone Wii screenshot up top, while the PSP screenshots are below. Enjoy. |

European video game new site Eurogamer has posted an interview with Matt Tomprowski, the lead designer behind Electronic Arts' upcoming WWII shooter, Medal of Honor Heroes 2 (PlayStation Portable, Wii). One of the interesting things Tomprowski mention in the interview is that while players will be fighting alongside squads of Allied soldiers, the main focus will still be on carrying out their own top secret OSS objectives. There won't be that much of a requirement to cover squad mates, and the designers have come up with a regenerating health system to "focus more on the intense action of battle". Speaking of battle, Tomprowski also talked about Zapper support for the Wii version of Medal of Honor Heroes 2. The Zapper will be supported in all of the game modes including multiplayer. It'll also feature in a kind of on-rails training mode that will share the same - albeit redesigned - levels as the campaign mode. The PSP mode will also have the 32-player multiplayer support that the Wii version has. In multiplayer mode, players can take part in Deathmatch, Infiltration (Capture the Flag) and the much requested Team Deathmatch mode. Tomprowski didn't reveal the total number of multiplayer maps, but he did mention that there will be "six all-new maps that vary in environment and size". For the full interview, click on the Read link below. We'll keep you guys updated of any further developments regarding this game. It is a rumor no more, Medal of Honor fans! There will indeed be a Medal of Honor Heroes sequel, not just for the PSP, but for the Wii as well.
Set in 1944, players will be controlling OSS Operative John Berg whose missions will take you into Normandy to undermine the Nazi regime. The game will have a single-player campaign mode but supports a 32-person multiplayer battle for both the PSP and the Wii, and a Wii Zapper support system for the Wii. Electronic Art's Medal of Honor Heroes 2 will be released during the holidays, so watch out for updates. |
