PSP Revolution Loco Roco Style

Loco Roco, well, where do we start? Whatever Alejandro Quan Madrid said about it, here at QJ territory, every time there is something to write about these cute blobs, let's just say that everybody here (especially Karen) would kill to cover the story. Well, what can we say, we fell in love with them blobs, there's no reason not to. And we know that you also got captivated with these creatures, that's why homebrew developer MonkeyBoy1916's latest creation might tickle your fancy as he proudly brings to all of you, Loco Roco lovers, the PSP Revolution Loco Roco Style v1.

The developer mentioned to us that he "modded everything to have a locoroco feel to it, but since there are very few locoroco songs available i could only include 2, once more are available i will add them to LocoRoco Style.." Yes, there are only two songs - Loco Roco Demo and Evil Theme, but once you start playing, you'll easily forget that inadequacy because you're already getting amused by the Loco Roco feel of the game. Just be careful not to be too enamored because you might miss them steps, which unfortunately happened to us.

Anyway, there is definitely more room for improvement (which means more Loco Roco) for this app in its next release. MonkeyBoy1916 would also like to apologize about the delayed release of Anime Style v4, but he promises that it would be worth the wait "as it has about 20 new songs and 5 new Anime's". For now, let the PSP Revolution Loco Roco Style v1 melt your hearts. And also don't forget to talk about it through your comments.

So go start your own site, ripe with bad spelling and idotic statements.

 » Nice work

Some good work here, nice to see more support for the best PSP homebrew out there. My only complaint is that it is way to easy. I was able to beat both of them on the hardest difficulty with an A on my first time through. For those that don't need/want it hard though, it is very good.

why not combine all psprevolution homebrews into one. the anime and locoroco styles and others (if there exists). I know size will be big.but there will be a lot of songs and different graphics. Just my 2c.

 » well...

i like the idea... but i think a better job could have been done... if i had photoshop i would use the wallpapers and songs(there is a step generator u can use to add steps to a song) i won from the event(the thing on sony site that u put in the code from the demo) to make a loco roco style pspr. Yea i mastered loco roco demo and i can get a B on that parfait song in pspr

 » pitiful

This is the third songpack I've downloaded from this guy and I hate to say it, but heavy is so easy that I'd put the label of light or standard on it, there is no way the heavy difficulty is heavy at all. If you guys think i'm bs'ing I'll try my shot at making a stepfile for one of these songs, I'm willing to.

I really dislike the copying of the crappy quality graphics, let them sit at a natural PNG, they looked horrible playing them in stepmania

for #13, hehe, B on that parfait song, Ilona Mitraceys music is pretty good, I guess I may just be too much of a Stepmania addict if I've gotten an AA on that song.. The other songs bundled with the actual PSPrevolution are fun, but off topic

Just work on your songs dude, make them a lot tougher please, I'll be willing to help,

 » Not to brag but....

I have gotten through the entire Un Monde Parfait song in one combo on the hardest difficullty several times. Ok, yeah I'm bragging. The song really isn't that hard, I have played MUCH harder.

» wow flaming.... with me in it...

Yo Eric, not to diss you or something, but how can you win a spelling bee when you can't even spell simple word like "graphic" right? Hey I don't mean to offend you but I'm just wondering though.

» 40 is only near death if you spend as much time around the comp as Eric R.

True that #23, true that i thought it was a joke when he posted the 30 min thing like 2 seconds later.
I bet Erik would have never noticed the spelling error if #4 didn't already point it out.
Erik. You cannot even flame right.
Go buy a DS and play spelling champion or whatever lame games are out for that system.

So is this challenging enough to download? Or is it an easy waste of time?

 » Jeez, AGAIN

First of all i didnt use any illegal materials, i didnt use anything sony had released, i took screenshots for the backgrounds ( Which is perfectly legal ), and i used songs that were recorded, not those *****ty things you get for winning the stupid locoroco thing, and the beats are the hardest part, and i cant make them super hard for everyone cuz the newer people would just fail and suck at it ( No offence ), if you feel that this isnt that great then keep it to yourself, i dont need to listen to everyone complain over a 30min job, i just threw it together since i was bored, and i dont have photoshop or else i would have used it to make everything better ( Thats why the menu is a little weird ), i will either get photoshop or find help for this, and im not taking requests , i already have people that can help me, and i dont need anyone else...

Thx QJ for posting it as it was a quicky job, and if i feel up to it once i am done with Anime Style, and v1 of PokeMon Style, i will gladly make this better

   by Temprix - 2006-08-08
 » Just copy

Just copy the two folders inside "Default" under "Themes" to a folder named LocoRoco or something like that in your existing PSPR Themes folder. Then copy the songs also. Walah, only one version of the game on your PSP.

 » Umm, wrong

I set it up so you can have Anime, Nintendo, Locoroco, and the original styles all on your psp, so just do what i said and take the 2 folders and put them in your game folder, and my eboot is modded aswell and you might get errors if you did wat #31 did, just do what i said and everything works PERFECT
