MGS PO

EB Games, GameStop, and GameCrazy are currently running a pre-order promotion for Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops. This game  will be a full-fledged entry in the Metal Gear Solid series unlike Metal Gear AC!D. The bonus will be an MGS-themed PSP case. From the looks of it, it's not a soft cover but an actual hard case!

EB and GameStop currently have the game set for December 1st, but that's likely just a placeholder. We'll have more on this game as it's revealed. With so many people saying they might pick up a PS3 once Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots is released, you can't help but wonder if the PSP sales will receive a boost once Portable Ops is released!

psp sales actually went down when gta was released.

I think I should go pre-order MGS: PO. Also the #2, GTA: LCS is the best selling PSP game to date and brought up sales for the PSP. It could be possible that sales for the PSP can go up this holiday season.

I usually don't care for pre-orders but for this game I might do it, and to all PSP skepticals wait for this holiday season and see, if the PSP can't outsell DS this upcoming season then it will never be able to do so at all.

This holiday season is going to be a great season for all gamers. There's the arival of two new systems, Wii and PS3, second gen Xbox 360 games, Gears of War, and some new titles for DS and PSP, FFIII and MGS: PO. It is going to be tough for the PSP to beat the DS this holiday season with the new DS Lite colors, Black and Pink, and games like FFIII, selling half a million in Japan. But that doesn't mean the PSP is left out. With the PSP now $200 and games like MGS: PO, GTA: VCS, SOCOM: FTB 2, Silent Hill Origins, and others coming out, this could be the best time to get a PSP. Oh man this holiday season is going to be great and I know anyone could agree with me.

it isnt even close to as good selling as the ps2 games were. It took quite awhile for it to break the one million mark and ds were otusellign it left and right like the enw mario bros. Games like Daxter and Symphon Filter are psp's ebst games and should be on the top 25 for a few months straight and would be ona ny other pakltform, on the psp I dont even think they amde the top 10 once.

You guys wanna check the date again?
Hmm, i'm thinking you guys should actually pre-order the game. That way, you get told the same thing i did.
I asked, "Do you know the release date for Portable Ops? She says, "Hold on a minute." She had to check the DOS like computer for (what i'm assuming has) the release date list. Then, not even five minutes go by, and WAMMO! "The 2nd." she told me. I then said, "You mean December, right." Her final word, "Yes."

Meaning, if you've got a properly functioning cranium, then you would have already pre-ordered the game. Knowing that the ACTUAL release date is currently,
December 2nd 2006.
