With all the health-related trends lately, from diets to quick weight loss exercise programs, it sure is nice to know that the brain is not being left out.And it is being explored in more creative ways. Mind Quiz, the hit brain training game in Europe from Ubisoft and Sega, is making its way to the PSP. Already making waves in Japan, the PSP version will be available in stores come November.

Mind Quiz for the PSP will test calculation, reflex, judgment and memory. All these are actually qualified to exercise the brain with scientific experiments. It will also include the fast-rising Brain Age with its checking mode. This allows the player to evaluate their brain age by solving questions once a day. To evaluate strength, you can choose the school setting for you to enjoy elements such as online gameplay and mock exams. Also included is a challenge mode, as well as a healing gallery. You begin the game training with school teachers, getting to try various unique brain training programs and difficulty settings as you advance in level.

Mind Quiz is the European version of the Japanese blockbuster series Brain Trainer, and is deemed to be the best in the series yet. It is designed to help train and stimulate the brain and is supervised by Dr. Kawashima, the Japanese authority on Functional Brain Imaging.

 » Sucks too.

It won't be better than brain age...what made Brain Age so amazing for the Nintendo DS was because of the easy input system of a touch screen...Simply pressing buttons is not going to enhance the input experience...in the end, the PSP sux in terms of input.

 » ***** Sucks.

What a way to totally rip the idea from Nintendo. They even use the term 'Brain Age' do describe your score.

@4

of course they're using the same terms, it's the same guy (Kawashima) that's supervising the game. And anyway, once it comes out it's one more thing off the list of advantages the DS has over PSP.

 » So...

Is this from the same the creator of brain age or the team at least or its just a rip off from a crappy ds game?.

Anyway at least looks like a real iq test not like the ds game that looks like "sesame street".

I think if you paid 30$ for a ds game that tests your mind using sodoku you are not very bright.

 » Dear idiots:

In japan brain age has been around forever. Before the DS was even thought of, Sega used to make little LCD brain age games.

 » @#5

I fail to see how making a copy of the game series that is hailed on the DS as being not only remarkably innovative and FUN, but INTERACTIVE, is an ADVANTAGE. That touch screen thing cannot be beat, and guarenteed they aren't making it with the homebrew touchscreen mod in mind.

 » Ok i get it

@18, robots dont work like that. and who gives a crap if Sony copies? its bound to be better than nintendo anyway. as long as it benefits u(the consumer) it wouldnt matter unless ur a retarded one.

"its bound to be better than nintendo anyway"

Actually, no. As other people have said, this version will lack the immediacy of the touchscreen and microphone. Sony, it seems, has eschewed innovation in favour of "let's wait and see what Nintendo does, and then copy them". Original is typically best.

"as long as it benefits u(the consumer) it wouldnt matter unless ur a retarded one"

Well said.
