Miro Lua 2.3 screenshot - Image 1Long after homebrew developer omerjks' previous release of the convenient Miro Lua application, an updated build is now available for other developers who work in Lua to create programs for the Sony PlayStation Portable. Miro Lua version 2.3 brings nifty changes that should make your coding job much easier.

Miro Lua, for those who missed it, is a homebrew development utility for PC which interface shares similarities with Microsoft's IDEs like Visual Studio. With tools organized and accessible, beginners will find it easy to start coding after installation.

In this release, omerjks killed a bug and added features. Here's the changelog for Miro Lua v2.3:
  • Fixed execution error: "error: can not open script.lua: No such file or directory"
  • Adding export opportunities with the new LUA HM5 Player for PSP with Kernel 3.xx
  • Added features LUA Player HM5 to the dictionary functions available
