Want some more hot Robot-on-Robot action? Well you're in luck... if you're in Japan that is. Namco Bandai has announced a new PSP iteration in the Gundam videogame series, and it's a port of the arcade hit Mobile Suit Gundam: Gundam VS Gundam.

As you can probably expect, a number of additions are being made to ensure the game's freshness. Expect to see four-player multiplayer support through ad-hoc mode, exclusive new mecha and adjustments to the existing roster, a player profile exchange function, background music straight from the original shows, and a Media Install option akin to that found in Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G.

According to the official Mobile Suit Gundam: Gundam VS Gundam site, the game is set to be formally announced on August 31 at C3XHobby 2008. In the meantime, you can check out these scans we found from VideogamerX.net (external link). Enjoy!
