PlayStation Portable homebrew developer wbb dropped by QJ.NET PSP Development Forum to release a new version of Modo, the ultra simple mod player application. This new build, as always, comes with several bug fixes and a couple of handy improvements.

The following changes were provided by wbb:
  • Remote control support
  • The menu browser is a bit faster (uses cache)
  • Limited playlist option added (use Triangle button to select multiple directories / files).
  • Choose a different directory after first start. Create modo.cfg and put into the first line the directory, eg: ms0:/PSP/Music
  • Vorbis/Ogg support added (via libTremor)
You can find in the Readme.txt file all the different formats supported by Modo. For starters, however, here are some of the more popular ones: 669, IT, MED, MOD, MTM, S3M, STM, and XM. The documentation should also provide you with the information needed in installing the program to your handheld units.
