We knew that we are going to get this game for PAL only.
Cos of the past, many JRPGs came PAL but never out in USA.
Well, USA fault that they don't buy japan games as all unless if there is a gore effect like Resident Evil, DMC etc...
Typical USA, cannot wait North Korea nuke them.
HATER!!!!! At least we get new technology like a year before Europe. I dont have anything against Europe but since you brought up that point. Oh well.
So many incorrect things in the article, there exist no such thing as PAL and NTSC with PSP. These are television formats which are dissapearing with the new HDTV formats. Correct would be EU and NA.....
ouch!
PSP do using PAL and NTSC because both have different screen, I think PAL is using Sharp's screen which it is different to USA version.
Difference between the US, HK and JAPANESE PSP:
The US or HK one is being made with a less expensive screen by Samsung. The Japanese one is made by Sharp which gives better quality + crisper images.
Japanese Sony PSP is Region 2, which is same as UK, or Europe Country, therefore it's more likely use same screen as well.
If you have a US psp you CAN play EUR psp games! If u have a ntsc ps2 with ntsc tv, you CANT play PAL games, you have to patch them. Psp may have diferent screens, but it just the brand and image quality.Doesn't mean one screen has more lines than the other, like on tvs. For example ,NTSC is typically broadcast at 525 lines while PAL is typically 625. Dont confuse tv with psp screens. It's like saying a european pc monitor is PAL and US pc monitor is NTSC,so I cant use an european monitor on my pc, LOL NOOB.
You are right your psp has the best screen of all psp's on earth.
The games are region free, that's why you can play it.
you forgot to name Belguim ;)
my psp is us and the screen is sharp, plus i fixed psp`s and all psp`s ive fixed are us and have had sharp screens the only thing thats samsung is the flash memory before you go saying dumb s^+t make sure you know what youre talking about dufus
great :D i'm form PAL region ;] !!! SUPER !
Region free ftw?
I've already been playing the Japanese iso of MHP2. I was going to buy the UMD when it was released for America, but with this news it looks like Capcom's not getting my 40 bucks :(
I was sooooo looking forward to pre-ordering this.
NEVER release it on USA!!!!! Come to Europe, come!!!
Always Europe first, Capcom!!!!!
(Did I piss u of? XD) Im SO happy now...
Most US Residents would pirate the game anyways.
yea dumb*ss, plus dats free so enjoy wasting 40 euros or watever da hell u use while i'm playing it for free.
custom firmware for ever US pirates games but the ppl who make that possible for us are EUROPEANS (cough cough info cough cough psp)
download it...
duh?
hooever said about wasting 40 euros is an ignorant little bugger, cos ur american u think that means ur better than all of us well oh and the comment was racist to happy now?
"...it's devastating to know that North America is NTSC."
So is Japan.
Thank God! Capcom are releasing an english version of the game!! I don't know why they took so long in issuing the release date, 'cos we all know its gonna do well. For the US gamers out there, just wait and see. Sometime they release games in the UK before the US because we are apparently more welcoming towards games (most likely 'cos we're happy to get anything!!). We all know MHF, although seemingly popular, didn't do anywhere near as well out in the west. Just sit back...
Where does it say its not coming in North America?
Read the article in my link and then read the last sentence in the first paragraph and tell me pspupdates.com cant read.

Capcom plans to release this game as Monster Hunter Freedom 2 in North America in September 2007.
Yup, its true. Capcom are releasing this to Europe and the US in September. I kinda forgot that they did something similar with the original (released within a few days of each other in Europe and North America).
It means more of us can enjoy taking on big-ass wyverns with oversized Great Swords made from the remains of your last kill :). I wonder if they've introduced any more annoying wyverns (Kut-Ku, Gypceros and Khezu are pretty annoying).
dose someone have a save data thy can send me for munster hunter portable 2 i have it but i cant get past babakonga(pink monkey)
The first poster thinks he is a touch guy saying he can't wait for North Korea to bomb USA well I can't wait for Europeans to brush their teeth.
thats just wrong
If you guys check out Capcom.com rite now, they have a press release saying that the game is being Released in North America..... Its a BIG press release. Kinda hard to miss. its in the North American Capcom site btw.
Since there will be a NA release then i need my ONLINE support dammit!!!
Finally!
USA has to wait in uncertaintity whilst we already have it!
Revenge is sweet!
Are you a retard or something? It is coming out in the USA the same time as Europe so how is that revenge?
ok i kicked in the monkey but......dose anyone have the save data editer if so may you edit my save data?
Faqs and Pics and stuff, enjoy
