monster - Image 1If you haven't already heard the news, the demo of Monster Hunter Freedom Unite is now available in the US Playstation Store. The demo features three quests, pre-made characters, four player ad-hoc co-op and a choice of a Felyne fighter for the single player quest.

For Europe, there will be two demo versions of Monster Hunter Freedom Unite. The first one will be available on May 28 on the Playstation Store while the other will be a limited UMD release by Capcom. This will be available on June 1st when you successfully register to the official Capcom Europe website or The Encyclopedia Gigantica site. Those lucky registrants will receive four copies of the demo to enjoy some co-op monster hunting.

Remember Monster Hunter Freedom Unite will be available in the US on June 23 while Europe will get the game on June 26.

So how do I get a copy of the UMD demo? I'm registered with the sites listed (registering on one registers on both). Do I just wait till June 1st then log on and claim a copy or something? Or do I have to do something now?

Boy, they didn't take it easy on the demo version - its brutal. That's good though, no sense giving people an unrealistic idea of what this game is about...
