Here's another reason why Dissidia just absolutely pwns.
Square Enix has updated their site with a new gameplay video: another climactic battle with Cloud and Sephiroth. These guys sure are friendly with each other, eh? Seeing them do battle in a real-time 3D environment isn't something new (Kingdom Hearts, anyone?); but to see them do it now in Dissidia - in the Life Stream! - is just way cooler. Points of interest: Cloud's Buster Sword, Ultima Weapon, Omnislash, Sephiroth's wing (yes, that's singular, of course), and Supernova. See if you can spot all of them in the video. There are also two summons shown, but I can't quite place who or what they are. One of them looks like Alexander, but I could be wrong. Square Enix's Dissidia: Final Fantasy for the PSP is to be released in Japan on December 18. Related articles:

I am still wondering if Square-Enix is gonna put any alternate costumes(Could's Advent Children...)...

» Yep. There's still no confirmation... BUT
We already know the following:
1) There's a "character customization" menu
2) Squall has his SeeD uniform as an alternate costume
3) Onion Knight has his Luneth costume too
Quite probably, everyone's got their own alternate costumes.
For Cloud, it could easily be his Advent Children outfit. Either that... or the one he wore for Don Corneo. LOL ;-)

» Cloud's alternate
will probably be the Shinra uniform. Advent Children is a sequel and it seems Dissidia seems to be based on all of the original games.
Cloud was only seen in the original game as the Shinra soldier, Soldier, and a woman.

» Oh yeah.
There was also young Cloud and kid Cloud in the flashback. In the original flashback he was young Cloud in Soldier and in real flashback he was in the Shinra uniform.
Who knows though. Cloud's alternate costume could also be Zack.

And don't forget "Cloud in Wheelchair." That could be an interesting alt costume too. LOL! ^_^

I highly doubt that it would be Zack as they would have to get his seiyu for his voice. But having his Advent Children outfit plus the First Tsurugi would definitely be welcomed. :)
Don't know if this is true or not, but I've heard that their is supposed to be four different outfits for each character so who knows?

» SUpernova
After all of this time, Sephiroth's SuperNova still doesn't kill Cloud! In the first game, it blasted it's way through the solar system and 5 planets just to not kill the party.
