Yeap, it's been a while indeed, but Red_Squirrel is back (he apologizes for the delay - studies and the holidays kept him busy, he says). Today we've got Alternative VSHMenu v6.1, an application that acts as an alternative to the M33 VSHMenu - which means, you can use this to tweak a bunch of stuff on your XMB and gives you other functionalities. Since we haven't gotten around to reporting v6.0 on the frontpage yet, we'll be including that in the changelog below: v6.1:

» major bug!
ok, so i download this and put it on my mem card. booted up my psp and i pressed "home" i really like the extra options and things, im thinking great but i like useing "select" to open the VSHmenu. i changed it so its select to open it, press exit, then press select to make sure it saved my settings. then boom, psp shuts down and wont boot for about 10 seconds. when it does boot i press select again and it happens again, so i disable the plugin and exit to the XMB. hold select to bring up the old VSHmenu and it doesnt work.
so now i cant use the VSH menu, not this 1 or the normal 1. can someone please help me and give me a fix. and yes i did try takeing off the plugin and putting it back on and it still set to "select" to open the menu.
please help me!!

ok i feel a bit stupid now :P i should learn to read readme's lol
anyway i disabled the plugin went to config in the recovery menu and VSH was disabled, i enabled it now the old VSH menu works fine.
but i cant get this 1 working because "select" is set to VSH menu button and homebrew folder (non-existant on my psp i just use GAME folders), so is there a way to reset the plugin completly
thanks again and my bad for befor :D

» I had the same issue, here's the solution
same thing happened to me... it saves the configuration file in Flash1... so now that you have that bug, it stays no matter what you do... the solution is to go into Flash1 and delete the file red.squirrel Then just bring up alternative VSH Menu again by pressing HOME. If you want select to bring it up... change it beside VSH button... beside "Select button" change the value to "nothing"
