After doing work on the Custom Firmware Extender application, homebrew developer Cpasjuste is now catering to all music-loving PlayStation Portable gamers. If your Sony PSP is currently running on the 3.90 M33 custom firmware, you can now play music while playing a game thanks to coder Cpasjuste's port of the Music prx plugin. |

great plugin, keep up the great work, i was saying that sony should make the thing like xbox 360 where you can bring up the guide and select music during games, but this is a great alternative. great job! :)
Cool but unnecessary. The music prx functionality was implemented in Custom Firmware Extender, and done better.
As I can't get IR Shell to work on my 3.90 M33-3(it just shows a black screen that I have to shut down and remove the battery to restart)this will do, as this is one of the most common things I do. I'd love a multitask plugin too...
irshell will work on 3.90, theres a patch. Go to youtube and search for it.
...is that the games also slow down to a crawl. :-/
This plugin is great news, but I'd be even more excited if my main game was something other than Wipeout Pulse (which has a nice custom soundtrack feature). The forum thread doesn't have the most views for nothing!
my Custom Firmware Extender's mp3 player stopped working in games recently. it crashed them in games but not in XMB. this plugin solves it all. amazing work done
why isn't it working when i'm about to play a game/homebrew (i have only bookr for a homebrew)? could somebody please help me out? :) pretty please. :)
I really appreciate all the homebrew coders who have made this a possibility. I have been itching to do this since I purchased my PSP years ago. I even went as far as to make the suggestion to Sony directly via a feedback questionarie. SO thank you to everyone who made this possible. Is there in game menu for controlling the songs?
I can't seem to get this to work... Select + Home just gives me the option of exiting the game, and doesn't actually mute.
can someone please give me the instuctions how to use this? i alreadyp ut it in the seplugins folder, but wha are the buttons? i enabled it then tried the buttons but it isnt worknig for me. i have cxmb, wallpaper randomizer, and popsloader for plugins. any help is greatly appreciated.
not sure why, but this plugin is not working properly for me. i'm pretty sure i'm installing it correct. since its like installing all of the other plugins
same here shrimpdude! i can't get the in-game mute to work... any help will surely help! lol!
