Here's another dose of ninja action from Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Heroes. We've got two new videos of the upcoming PlayStation Portable title - an interview and a gameplay montage.

The gameplay montage covers some of the single player modes and the team battles. We see a chidori versus lightning blade battle with Sasuke and Kakashi going head to head with their signature moves. In the team battle, Team Guy (Rock Lee, Neji, and Tenten) dukes it out with Team Asuma (Shikamaru, Choji, and Ino). The Parameter Power-Up feature was shown where players can "level up" their character through adding points to certain abilities.

In the video interview, Namco Bandai's Hiroshi Matsuyama, director for Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Heroes talked about how they ported the video game from the PS2 to the PSP. He talked about the memory limitations of the PSP compared to the PS2. He also mentioned that they included a team versus team mode that wasn't in the previous version of the game. A couple more interesting tidbits: Matsuyama revealed that there would be 22 fully playable characters. According to the director, North America can expect the title come summer of this year.

Anyway, we'll leave you to check out the Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Heroes videos. Enjoy!

first read my post clearly i said SAUAKES DEMON SEAL CHIDORI not a regular and KYUBI NARUTOS RASENGAN theres a difference between the two
and also look at jap version rules post it explains the special attacks

and i aslo think its that way bc in states the season of naruto isnt as far as japans like right now the states is at episode where naruto is still learning rasengan

i'd pay more just to get rid of the english voices and attack names, they sound terrible -_-

I would usually come in and say "shut the ***** up" to anyone who complains about the english voices and say the jap voices rock- but that kakashi voice really is quite off :S I would still prefer that to no voices though.

» jap version is like this....

japanese version is still fun.....

dunno what all is added in english or even taken away but i must say.... the game was fun considering i havent played any other naruto game....

great fighting style... (i think)

in the jap version theres kyuubi rasengan and demon chidori (level 2?)

anyway... gai uses the primary lotus (looks much kooler than lees)

and lee uses the same but looks like the one from the show....

and gaara uses sand coffin i think

chubby guys just eats the person (lol, jk) umm forgot what he does....probly the rolly move or giant size or something

sakura i think just gets her shadow to punch you (funny, but lame)

orochimaru just does the 5 pronged seal (stupid since he only used it on naruto)

toad sage (forgot the name for now) summons the huge ass toad and does the slime + fireball combo

chizune does a poisonous attack

tsunade does a huge ass kick to ur face with her superhuman strength

and the bonuses for using their special attacks r like u r basically godlike

once u use rasengan or chidori or the kick from tsunade u get like a super saiyan thing going on

just thought id let pple kno wat the jap version is like....

oh and if u think bout getting the jap version... umm stay away from the single player (it blows)
