As a fusion of works from neopop_uk and Akop Karapetyan (a.k.a. uberjack), NeoPop PSP expands your selection of Neo Geo emulators for the PlayStation Portable. NeoPop PSP version 0.71.1 is the homebrew emulator's initial release and is a direct port of the neopop_uk's NeoPop emulator available for PCs (Win32 platforms), thanks to uberjack's efforts.

The emulator allows the execution of ROMs, even while they are zipped, thanks to the zLib library support thrown in. The release also inherits the NeoPop core features, which in version 0.71.1 include:

• TLCS-900h counts extra cycles for addressing modes.
• Tweaked and optimised the timers, now they're more accurate.
• Fixes music in "Cool Cool Jam" and improves "Card Fighters".
• Emulates more instructions per 'emulate' call, makes things faster.
• Put frameskipping back in.
• Made flash writes even more secure.
