PSP homebrew emulator enthusiast Akop Karpetyan (uberjack, to some) previously released a PSP port of neopop_uk's NeoPop Emulator. As it stands now, a new update to the initial release of the NeoPop PSP emulator has been rolled out.

While this current release of the NeoGeo Pocket and Pocket Color emulator doesn't have a long bulleted list as a changelog, the solitary item on the readme is still a very substantial change indeed:
  • Fixed a serious crash caused by having many long filenames in the same directory
There are still a couple of bugs that have been taken note of and are already being tracked. All notes related to this release and its previous version can be found in the readme. Controls and installation procedures are also found in the readme, and we advise all users to take a look at it before anything else.

I wish this were playable.. the last one was just too slow to play... great emu though.. please keep updating!

Not bad... the best one yet...it needs to be faster but you can play rpg's right now...for some reason if you take a screen shot it turns pink. How do you exit the emu?? I'm glad someone is working on this...very cool...thank you!!
