Pirata Nervo's on a full swing as he releases his "full-fledged shell replacement for the PSP", NervOS, upping the version to 2.1. This homebrew needs no introduction at this point, but just in case you're new to the scene (newcomers are always welcome!), it allows you to play music, view images, play games, run homebrew or prx plugins on your handy dandy handheld. What's new in version 2.1?
Everything else you need to know is in the .pdf file included in the archive. It's really comprehensive, with installation/uninstallation instructions, controls, tech assistance, change log and more in it, so be sure to read it. Without further ado, here's Pirata Nervo' s NervOS 2.1. Enjoy! Download: NervOS 2.1 Previous NervOS releases: |

Seriously, I saw a hello world app on the front page with more description than my application has and it has a huge change log compared to a hello world app.
qj could be way better in some things..

» WTF
This has less than a Nickel of the real good features. Are you kidding. Half of them could have been posted. Sorry guys, but there is over 100 changes to 2.1 that aren't added to this. And not to mention that you had 9 hours to post this on the front page. Every site had it before you and he posted it in your Dev thread. This was not nice. It would be good for QJ to post more of the good features he worked hard on.

well this one is covered as news article but if I was not the author I would think it was *****.
I don't care about the time, it could have taken 2 days but if it had a nice news post I would be happy. I care about quality in the necessary time.

I noticed this is a copy from psp hacks, they probably did not notice the release thread in the development forum here
But at least they should have read the whole news, on psp hacks they second the fact that it has 105 changes/additions and they list some features.

» I just tried this shell out, its pretty nice looking.
But could it hurt to add a username and password saving option? Or maybe remove credits from the graphics? We don't really need reminders like that do we? Just those two things are annoying, everything else is cool.

Anyways, I'm just throwing out ideas on what I view as "running smoother, looking nicer."
Not complaining. Good stuff there Pirata.

I dont make the graphics and personally I would prefer them without the "themer's" names.
about the asterisk, I am talking about a list on forums. not an asterisk, it's a dot with 5 px diameter xD

i like irshell cause of usbhost nethost, the basic cool features/ir tv support and the ability to have an IN-IRSHELL menu while playing games (SELECT + LTRIGGER)

» Themes
I might have a screwed up version or may be a royal noob here, but how the hell do I change my theme on NervOS 2.1?
I just can't figure out how, and it seems like there's supposed to be a control panel or something on it, but it doesn't appear on my PSP. Is there any special button to get to it?
