It's not easy taking down gargantuan monsters the size of a small building. Even professional monster hunters need some downtime to relax from their many strenuous (and life-threatening) activities.

That's why Capcom will be introducing a new downloadable quest which will veer away from the usual monster slaying adventures in Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G for the PlayStation Portable. The new download will feature the Yian Kut-ku monster shrunk to an adorable bite-sized form, as seen in the image above.

If you're having trouble trying to take down the fiery big bird, you can try your hand at taming its smaller and cuter version right there. The new downloadable quest will be available at the Capcom site under its "Download" section tomorrow, April 18.

 » Hey cute!

So, is it gonna be a tamogotchi kind of thing?
Or, is it more like pokemon?

If they go the pokemon route, that will be an instant 2 million more sells right there! lol

 » The mini Kut-Ku...

Is too cute to skin! On the other hand, it still looks like a de-feathered parrot.
