Sony's putting up a show under the big tent for Asia. Via press release, SCE Asia has announced that there will be two new colors available for the PSP-3000.
According to the press statement, it's going to be under what's called the "Carnival Colors" series. Check 'em out, it's Vibrant Blue and Radiant Red. Pretty sleek, wot? The new PSP-3000s will be rolling out to the Asian market come next week, January 15 for Hong Kong and January 17 in Taiwan. Related articles: |

Let's just keep putting out more colors of the hardware and not think about supporting them with games and features...

» Sony does not care about features.
They want to push product, not satisfy the customer.

The PSP looks best with a custom color BUT the original buttons. I have a chrome red faceplate currently, with the original buttons rather than the red ones. It looks pretty sweet.

probably just a way of Sony doing the next attempt of better security, because they know the 3000 will be hacked. I bet anything there's a different motherboard in those. >(

They should add in some custom buttons.... but that's going unofficial there.

...I like the red...When the Phat PSP's were out, I always wanted one of their reds, but I would've had to import...and then they were out of stock. And then the slims came out and again, for just a solid red PSP, I would've had to import...and now again, they're also out of stock. So needless to say, I've had to settle for the Kratos PSP, but don't get me wrong, I like GOW, but that means now, if I want an all red PSP I gotta find a normal red battery back. I might consider buying the red one after they've completely figured out the 3000s.
