A lot of the best puzzle games have a pretty simple premise. Take Tetris for example. Agetec's new PSP puzzler, Puzzle Guzzle, also has a simple premise: players attempt to turn different shaped pieces into shapes with 90 degree angles on each side.

Of course, not everything's actually so simple. An opposing human or computer player is always trying to foil you. At higher levels, pieces appear faster and faster and opponents get more devious. There's a payoff, though. As players defeat opponents, they steal their character’s appearance, features, and special abilities.

Puzzle Guzzle has loads of challenges that should occupy the mind of any puzzle fan for a couple of hours. So, how does it stack up to Tetris? Find out for yourself. The game's already been out since last week and is available for US$ 19.99. Also check out the screenshots below for a peek at what the game has to offer.
