Ó

It's been a while since we've brought you any updates for Activision Hits Remixed, but this slew of screenshots for the games included in the $19.99 USD package with a release date of Fall 2006, will definitely more than make up for the interval.

You can check out what to expect from old school games like Decathlon, Grand Prix, Private Eye, Stampede, and Tennis. Thank you so much to Wiebke Hess for sharing these goodies.

Decathlon

Requires discipline and sweat, stamina and speed, with muscles opposing muscles, compete in the most celebrated game of the Olympics: the ten events of the decathlon. Earn points for each event. Highest final score wins!

Grand Prix

Enter the race of your life. Nothing stands between you and victory except the clock, the road and the other drivers out to beat you to the finish line. You may emerge as the Grand Prix world record holder.

Private Eye

Sleuth wanted! Help Private Eye Touche navigate the city streets, parks, secret passages, dead-ends and one-ways in search of Henri Le Fiend and his gang. Evidence and stolen goods are scattered about, and you'll need to find these too. Let the map and your memory be your guide. And let nothing go unnoticed.

Stampede

So you want to be a cowboy? Well, greenhorn, it can be right tricky. So, before you start to lasso them doggies, you'd best learn the ropes. Real careful-like. Then saddle up-and head-em out! Rope and heard those doggies without letting any get by you and dodge any surprises on the trail.

Tennis

Now, you'll never have to wait for a court again. With Tennis, you can enjoy the challenge and excitement of tennis right on your PSP. In no time you'll be playing like a pro!

This graphics looks like crude. Why buy? is it that fun?

 » Wow...

Those are some terrible menus. Only nostalgia can interest you in buying this game.

I wonder if Decathlon will still have that cheat where you can pole vault 40 ft or more

» If this title contains ROM images...

...then it might just be worth it. Even if these are reprogrammed titles like those TV Games joysticks instead of using original programs with emulated hardware, if they include the original rom images + license with it you can then play them using Stella.

Titles like this should really be priced at about $10. I just can't see this thing selling well at a normal price.

» SURE I'll pay 50 bucks for 30 bytes of data

I wonder how many people realize that the ENTIRE atari collection of 2,500 roms comprises a whopping 3 megabytes on my MS. the entire intellivision collection takes up like 5 megs. same with coleco. thousands of roms, take up less space than an mp3, and these jokers are expecting to sell these?

and to whom? PSP owners over 30? because I KNOW there isnt a single human under 27 that ever heard of this stuff or would give a damn, and younger gamers would only look at this and see garbage games.
