PiMPStreamer

We live in the "instant" age. Where the microwave is the new stove, liposuction has replaced crunches, and AIBO is man's best friend. And the only reason we chose this as the opening is because halfway through that overdrawn and overly dramatic sentence you'd have already installed the latest version of PiMPStreamer in your PSP with DickyDick1969's PiMPStreamer Noob Installer.

You'd be able to play AVI, MP3, MPEG and other common media formats from your computer to your PSP faster than instant noodles gets cooked. Just download the installer through the download link below the article, run it on your computer and stream away.

Better get used to this because future releases will now come in this format.

Did you start the exe (PiMPStreamer.exe?)

If so you can test if it is alive by entering this in your browser:

http://localhost:3333/
or
http://xxxxxxxx:3333/

where xxxxxxxx is your IP.

You will see "-1" in the page.

Whats the point? Seriously, if your in a place where you can stream from your pc, why not watch it on a screen (monitor) instead?!

PMP is leet but conversion is tedious.

Sigh.. This app streams your vids realtime to the psp..
Everywhere you want. No conversion to PMP needed.

» No help on apps home page ... maybe here?

Well I posted this on the apps home page and got no replys ... anyone here able to help

what are the “movie” and “audio” bit rate options for? …. do you use those to make the video and audio jive better with out stutter of audio?

Also if I pause the movie on my PSP the PC part of the load only “buffers” so far then stops … is there a way to make it buffer to the end so then it will play without audio stutter?

Thanks!
