It's been two weeks since we last heard from RealTechVR over their upcoming No Gravity: The Plague Of Mind title, but it appears it will be launching much sooner than we thought. The developers have just unveiled that their game will be available by next month (August).
If RealTechVR sticks to the rest of its plans, the game should be hitting Europe's PlayStation Network first. While that's already big news in itself, the developers further followed up on the release date announcement with a new The Plague of Mind gameplay trailer. Far from last year's image montage, this new video contains actual gameplay footage which, to be frank, looks awesome for something that began as a homebrew project. A couple of new screenshots are also available for viewing (via IGN). Enjoy your ogling session, and be sure to stick around in case we run into any more updates. And before we forget - we extend our congratulations to the RealTechVR for making it this far! Related:

It feels like a year (has it been?) since this game has been completed. Cannot wait for it.

The "Homebrew" Game Demo was very repetitive but Graphics were already great!
Hope the Retail version looks and plays well.

» Third person?
No Gravity used to be a first person flight sim like Wing Commander. When did it change to a third person Rogue Squadron style?

» I agree with the other post that it was
a little repetitive but damn, those graphics were fine! I enjoyed just looking at the game, more than playing it. It seemed a bit to easy though if you ask me, I hope they upped the skill level required to play.

» What happened to free
You greedy RealTechVR bastards. I am gonna pirate this just so they keep their promise of it being free to the homebrew masses, and not have been used as free beta testers and tons of coverage. ***** you, and ***** your game.

» They never said it would be free DOUCHE-BAG!!!
People like you sicken me! They never claimed it was going to be free. They offered the demo for free, but never said it was going to be a free project. Sounds like you would pirate anyway, so I doubt they have any loss. They obviously spent a great deal of time on it and I doubt they will sell it for too much anyhow, being as it will be PSN. Did you ever think that maybe you are the greedy one? You willingly take others work, whether it is freeware or piracy and get mad if someone doesn't hand it out to you for free. I'm sure you're also the type of person that gets pissed off when homebrew developers miss their projected release dates.

» Only they SAID it was to be free
It was to be a homebrew project for free to the masses. They even finished it and sent word that they were waiting for release on their website.
http://pspupdates.qj.net/No-Gravity-The-Plague-of-Mind-complete-getting-ready-for-release/pg/49/aid/110586
But then slowly their real intentions became all too apparent as the holiday release date came and went, which for a commercial game is nothing to be delayed, is very suspicious for a homebrew game. Then they announced that they were going to sell it.
http://pspupdates.qj.net/No-Gravity-The-Plague-of-Mind-headed-to-PlayStation-Network/pg/49/aid/115266
So they took all the publicity people were spreading for an awesome homebrew project and they twisted it into free publicity, so next time you think of telling me what's what around here, how about you know what you're talking about next time and keep that foot out of your mouth and planted directly up your a$$
