Heads up! The official site for Riviera: the Promised Land is now up and running! Get the lowdown on the characters Ecthel, Ledah, Rothe, Lyuri, Fiaa, Serene and Cierra, immerse yourself in the game's story, and get your hands on other game info and downloads.

Riviera is originally a GBA game done by Sting, and is now being developed for the PSP. This RPG looks quite promising (check out the graphics), and we're positive that it will cater both to Riviera fans and curious PSP users alike.

It's supposed to be out this year, but as of now, a specific date hasn't been released yet. For more updates, just stay tuned here at QJ. Meanwhile, check out their home page for a heavy dose of Riviera eye-candy.

Update: Our readers mentioned that Riviera is orginally a WonderSwan Color-game, which was ported to the GBA in 2005. Thanks a lot sushi and Niels for mentioning that.

 » where're the graphics?

the article says 'check the graphics' but i could not find any relevant link on that page, the only graphics shown there are original artwork from the GBA title.

I already own Riviera on GBA, what incentive could they possibly offer, other than a less-than-worth-it graphics upgrade, that would make me want to buy this game AGAIN?

Editors should correct the error mentioned above: Riviera is originally a WonderSwan Color-game (ported to the GBA in 2005).

Wow, I'm very glad to hear about this - currently playing Riviera on my GBM and the game's very entertaining. Looking forward to a PSP-version :)

Niels should notice that I already stated that it was first a WonderSwan Color game.
