Yeh, thats my biggest concearn.
I havnt played FF12, but it's battle system is dog ***** compared to the FF7 turn-based battle system, wich was PERFECT.
I wish they would make another FF7 game with a turn-based battle system. Thats my biggest wish!

Well, if you plan on buying a PS3(which I am at some point in time if I can make money -_-' I'm 14 and can't get a job. And can't really mow lawns or wash cars until summer so money is going to be slow T.T I just wish I could get a job now. I'd have it in within like 1 month and some weeks), I hear(probably just a roumor) that they might be remakeing FF7(it was on qj before, but I haven't really checked PS3 qj in a while so I don't know if there's been any articles to prove or disprove it), so you might get your wish IF you want to get a PS3 :-)

Dam this looks CRAZY! This is gonna be a huge hit like Monster Hunter well i hope. Only thing that im concerned with is the firmware update that the game will require, otherwise this looks like a for sure buy. ps i didnt mind the ff12 battle system.

DS only for kid to play and play some simple games, simple graphic cannot satisfy us now. And I don't think their FF series in DS can be success, but I can be sure FF series like this one in PSP must be success, I must buy UMD for this game because this is really a good game..

Looks cool, but FFVII wasn't my type of game... I enjoyed FFVIII much more than 7, maybe because of the graphics and the story line. Meh, that's just my opinion. But 7 wasn't bad either, just didn't like it as mush as 8. When I was playing VIII, it felt like I was actually in the game... Perhaps there will be a sequel for VIII too than in the future.

holy *****. the game looks very story-oriented for a portable game but I guess you can't do a Square-Enix game without having SOME kind of story. Plus the battle system looks like a lot of fun. This could be the first VERY big PSP game and will finally give the platform the respect it deserves. MGS got close, but this looks to beat it out by miles.

I had no problem with the FFXII battle system but i hope this battle system is more of an action rpg system. Where you have to tap buttons instead of just setting a gambit and waiting.
