Prinny's Disgaea spin-off 2D action platformer game is finally confirmed to arrive in North American shores some time in the future! Ever since it was announced, Prinny: Is it Okay if I'm the Main Character? (aka Prinny: Ore ga shyujinkou de iinsuka) has remained a Japanese exclusive.

I'm sure some of you expected that NIS America would eventually announce the title for the US, so now, this shouldn't come as a surprise. Speaking to Siliconera, NIS America marketing Manager Jack Niida confirmed the status of Prinny for North America:

Yes NIS America will publish the Prinny action game. We haven’t figured when it will come out just yet, but look forward to it. So far, the hard mode on that game is one of the most challenging action game ever made.

So yes. In case Prinny is asking (and indeed he is), it's definitely okay to be the main character - as long as we get to see him as a main character on US shores.
