OpenBOR - Image 1Sony PlayStation Portable coder SamuraiX is back with an update for his wonderful OpenBOR homebrew. OpenBOR version 2.1134 has some major fixes and engine updates that we will list a little later on.

If you don't have a clue what the OpenBOR homebrew series is about, it's a game/application which lets you create your own beat 'em up games. This is especially fun when working with friends since you can try out each others creations.

These are the changes in OpenBOR version 2.1134 according to SamuraiX:

  • Logs error when samples are missing and ignores them when trying to play missing samples.
  • We now safely exit the engine when running out of memory. Check your log files for details
  • PSP Users, Modules/ctrlhook.prx is now required for Both Slim and Fat models. Modules/dvemgr.prx is only required for Slim. Delete your settings.sav file for PSP.
  • New PSP commands:
    Home + Start restart OpenBOR.
Home only now acts like escape key in windows.
All Buttons are reprogrammable: Vol+, Vol-, Note, Screen and Hold switch.
Take note that this homebrew application requires the 3.71M33 Firmware to run. Enjoy the mayhem!
