I'd like to see roller coaster tycoon 1, poss 2 run on PSP. it is very similar to Open TTD and RCT1 is open source so to Jaime, pls make rct1 then i'd be sooo happy :D
RCT would be fantastic to see ported. Any coder who did it would receive eternal gratitude from myself and others. Also, anyone fancy porting Sim City 2000? The snes version is a bit lame
When i try to load the 1.0/2.0 Version it says cannot load data.dat something like that.
I hope someone can fix this problem
Why roller coaster tycoon 1? why not 2???? 2 looks way better :)
About roller coaster tycoon, let me know were is the source code, because i never saw it... Chris Sawyer doesnt use to release source code for his games.
Jordan take a look to the readme, and the announcenment at this url: http://openttd.teamjak.net/, You need some data files from the original game.
Read the readme Jordan. You need original files to play this port.
RCT1 aint open source, nor are any of his other games. OpenTTD is though.
Nice work Jaime. Please add the Danzeff OSK to the next build if possible, it's an awesome OSK.
Nevermind, Roller coaster tycoon 2 requires 64mbs of ram :/
Where do i find these orginal files lol
Remember that this game requires some data files from the original TTDX version, if you cannot find your old games cds, you burned them or used them as frisbee for your dog, this url may help you:

Look for ttd-graphics.rar or any windows version containing data files.
http://openttd.teamjak.net/, Jaime just told you that :)
ilegaly u can download them of the web somewhere legally uu have to buy the game.
It does work on 2.6 Yippee but theres one problem when i load the map i can't move down. :(
If this is open source, why is it dependent on proprietary files from a commercial game? Seems a little odd to me.
nice work jaime, looking forward to the next release.
It was originally based of a disassembly of the original TTD. Since then, it's probably changed enough to the point where it isn't an illegal clone. From a period of one month to a year from now, there should be a version of OpenTTD with a new graphics engine. Already, all the vehicles have been designed for this graphics engine, only buildings and landscape remains (still a daunting task). Until the new graphics engine has been designed and the graphics released, we must still use the commercial graphics.
When I tried to extract, the ottd folder had two conflicting eboots. You know then it will ask you to rename one. Anyone else have this same problem?
same here thats odd
Ok, that makes sense. I never played the original, but this does look pretty interesting. Any chance that the final version will be playable on 2.6?
Where do I start, I cant find a good newbie faq anywhere
ok well i have put all the files from the real game in the fil and everything!!! but wen i play it says loading then says cannot open autorail.grf!!! and its in there aww i really wanted to play this it looks really awsome can anyone help me???
Upsss, sorry for the conflicting EBOOTs , i was so stoned when packaged the release, just use the eboot in caps and delete the other one.
About 2.6 support there will not be 2.6 support, sorry.
oh man i really like this game.. and now with keyboard :D yes bad thing my wireless router isn't functioning annymore:( wel looking forward to the next release:)
