Now if we could only find something that will delete the whole psp's flash, imagine how much space that would save
That would brick the PSP, Einstein.
WOW!Its was a joke, Einstein, derrrrr
but a dumb joke that has nothing to do with anything.
saved 3mb of flash, finally i can fit my gameboot...
... that was a good joke, anyone who says otherwise probably just doesn't understand it and why it's funny...
Thx man, finally someone has brains, td sounds like tarded, bye
I also find that joke funny, so ***** THE REST who dont think its funny
haha i think you mean 3.03 OE-C or #.20 OE-A
haha i saw it too i was like wow this guy is confused
DAMNIT I wanted to be FIRST!!! NOOOOO!!!!!!!! this is unacceptable !!!!
you snooze, you lose ;)
3.10 OE-C wtf :)
OMG! I Gotta find out how to get that 3.10 OE-C! XD
The 3.10 OE C links to the page about dax's 3.03 and 3.10 mix for the UP chips lol
Whoops, sorry about that, I got it mixed up with 3.03 OE.
Correction:
Designed for 3.10 OE-A or later. Will work with 1.50, but be careful.
In the next revision I'm looking to add a backup and restore feature, so any files you delete with Outa-Space will be backed up and can be restored via an option in the app.
what about: "Also, the PSP won't crash when you try to use a deleted feature, it will simply "
simply what? not do anything? give an error?
inquiring minds want to know!
Hmmm.. I just delete the rss feed and some asian fonts.. but when i tried to log on my web browser, my 3.03OEC PSP just shut down by itself..
rss feed is linked to the web browser on the PSP thats why it will not work. Not to sure about this app. I would rather do all this the manual way. I will not use this but thanks for the nice brew
You've found a trick or two in my program!
@ Dybbuk: I may just combine the RSS and browser deletion thing so as to eliminate any resulting problems for the next release. Also, my program does everything you can do manually, and the coding is spotless.
@ Sham: Try disabling all other plugins and try again. Then try updating to 3.10 OE and try again. If not, then I guess I'll have to sort something out!
If you don't mind can you tell me how to make a PRX (pm me) or gimme a link to a guide to making them? I have ideas for 4 awesome plugins which I want to make, but I don't know what to do... I have devkitPSP (or something) and I've never made an eboot, but it seems to me that making a prx will be easier than making an actual eboot, right? thnx
PRX is just as hard as programming an EBOOT.
Dude whatever, It's harder :/... now can anyone point me to a tutorial plz? :D
Coding is spotless? Well then I do hope that it's not the same ode you asked help for in the dev forums.
thanks for making this dude, i usually use the usb flasher for stuff, but this made it really easy, good work!
Wow, its always nice to see a comment like that!
By the way, I've started work on v2, which should feature a backup/restore function.
Also, I've nearly finished a utility called "vid-gone"; It's a PRX that's loaded with the XMB. What it does is rename the MP_ROOT folder to something else on boot, so the video menu can't see your videos. You can then unhide your videos with [Home]+[L], or hide them with [Home]+[R]. Right now I'm having trouble with button input.... (the combi's work, but it disables the XMB's control).
You using Peek instead of Read for your controls?
***** i accidently deleted the video function anybody kno how i can get it back? is it the video_plugin.rco or something i need someone help!
nvm i got it back i had to find a backup of flash0 i made and put all the video prx and rco files back where they belonged where they were missing...took some time but i was able to do it
Sorry about that, Quizzle. v2 has a restore function. In the mean time, be careful.
