Developer TRStealthX passed by the QJ.NET Forums earlier to announce the release of the third build for PSAFE. The latest version of this homebrew anti-theft application for your handheld features a connection log that enables you to view your PSP connections.

As for the rest of the changelog:

  • IP Address Update: You are now able to update your IP address. The system will check to make sure that your IP address isn't the same and update it if necessary
  • Connection Log: You are now able to view all of your PSP's connections. You can print out the log information if you want. The logs will tell you whether the connections were from your computer or not.
  • New PSP Theft Check: Due to the amount of ISPs that refresh your IP address a few times a week, I now added a new way for your computer to recognized. The check application will make sure that its your computer by the IP Address AND the computer's nickname.
TRStealthX further notes that update 4 of PSAFE that will flash the app to the PSP - hence eliminating the need for a Memory Stick. Those interested in using PSAFE v3 are advised to view the file bundle's readme for proper installation and usage instructions. You may also want to view the application's introductory video posted below.

» Tip. Don't display my email address

And the crook has your email address from the URL.
Maybe you can hide this? Since I needed to register with your site, maybe you can use a 'hash' of my email address instead.

I look forward to the 'flash' version of this!

I don't know if you actually read these comments, but what if someone uses multiple computers for updates and such? Is there a way to add more that one computer to the "Nice List"?
