Ah, now here's a breath of fresh air. LED mods are a dime a dozen, but for the first time ever (at least, to our blogosphere knowledge) we now have a PSP-3000 mod by one roro3030 over at the PSPGen forums. Lookin' mighty sweet, yes?
roro3030's attached some blue LEDs in certain parts of the Ceramic White PSP-3000 unit, giving the shoulder buttons and even the UMD tray (among other parts) some "cool" lighting. So, is it just me or does the UMD tray look like Iron Man's chest plate in the movie? I dub thee, roro3030's PSP-3000 LED mod, the Iron Man mod! Related articles: |

Check on the front shot all the dead pixels this 3000 has.
Hope the rest aren't like that.

That screen is cracked. It was probably a doner PSP, or this is the most graceful roro3030 is when modding. I'm not gonna' lie, I wouldn't let him touch my system if that's the best he can do.

» Broken screen understandable
I agree with arishay that the mod was probably done on a doner (or cheap ebay as-is purchase) system. Makes sense. Every time some opens their PSP they risk something going horribly bad and it breaks some how. (The better skilled/meticulous the person is the lower the probability, but it is always about zero.) For developing new mods you wouldn't want to use your every-day gaming system, rather try to get one on the cheap. Broken/damaged systems are available on the cheap everywhere. Leave the guy alone for being fiscally responsible.
