PSP Wi-FI Adhoc File Transfer v0.6 - Image 1Homebrew developer Minerva has recently updated the PSP Wi-Fi Adhoc File Transfer application to version 0.6. This application, in case you're a first-time reader, allows you to transfer files from your PSP to another via the handheld's Wi-Fi connection.

It currently supports one-to-one, and up to one-to-six file transfers. Version 0.6 in particular comes with these new changes (quoting the Google translation):

  • FilerView features simplified implementation. Button and the exit from FileMenu to change.
  • Create a new folder, rename the file folder, and delete the copy moving.
  • Acquisition mode implementation.
  • If you carry this file何時NO間NIKA hand! (Inside might.)
  • OSK because of bloated file.
  • File transfer in progress and the remaining time to show it.
  • (Send and receive both v0.6 or more only. Small file transfer in the rest of the time is prettyイチキapplication).
  • Error or at the completion of the transfer MESSEJIDIREI to hold down a button飛BA make.
  • Receiving the same name files, and read-only attributes of the case had been forwarded to the failure to correct the problem.
As with the previous release, PSP Wi-FI Adhoc File Transfer v0.6 will work on units running on OE, M33 and Kernel3.xx-based custom firmwares. We further remind would-be users that their PSPs need to be running on at least version 0.5 to participate in the file transfers. You'll also want to be careful - Minerva warns that there is a danger that the transfer can be intercepted.

Full details on this application should be available in the readme. Given the original text is in Japanese, you can access the translated version here.

We thank Danoob2 for tipping us regarding this release!

size and type doesn't seem to matter, I just sent all my music from my slim to my phat. all 2.5 gig's worth. took an hour but MEH! I like it, now no longer are myself and my roommate tied to our puters to swap music, games and video's. Hell it even works with game saves. Great Application Man!!
