Now, we give you news from the Japanese homebrew front. Coder Minerva has just rolled out a new version of the application Adhoc File Transfer for the Sony PlayStation Portable, bumping it up to version 0.7.Just like its name indicates, this program will allow users to transfer files from their handheld units to another PSP using the WiFi connection. Here are some more information on this version translated to English using an online language engine:

really useful application to go about sending files to your friends. only setback is that your friend must first have this software first before u can send anything :)

If your friend doen't have the app, boot it up on one psp, then swap the memory card to the other and boot it up on there. Then using the app send the file transfer eboot to the other person. Simple!

You don't need to swap memcards.
There is a feature that lets you send the application via (GAMESHARE) AdHoc.
Press Triangle, choose "Send A.F.T(GameSharing)"
Then on the other PSP go to Game Sharing in XMB.
Great Application!

Sounds good ... anyone know the max file size for transfer? Also sounds like it transfers via wifi so that means it will work on SLIM & Fat?
Do you get to choose where the file transfers to or is it a preset location/folder?

» A Must-Have
This, personally I think should be in every PSP user's console right now. It's the most intelligent thing ever created on the PSP in terms of "filesharing". The need for a computer is a setback. This is a breath of fresh air. Just brilliant.
Especially the "A.F.T Game Share". Cool feat. ;)
Cheers Minerva! Arigato-Gonzaimasu!

does the gamesharing function mean you can send it to an ofw? and does it put the file in the correct place? like if you send an mp3 will it end up in their MUSIC folder?

» no.
The gamesharing function only sends the application to the receiver PSP, and the receiver PSP must be on CFW to run the app.

Awesome application 400mb in 15 minutes. And the gameshare feature is hot.
Lets hope someone will translate the readme just in case there are some more cool features in it.

If you open the read me file in microsoft word rather than in notepad you can see the japanese characters, then copy them into an online web translator.
It will be in English, just not good English.
