Okay, let's pretend there's any victory in getting first post on one of many articles posted here each day.
Then where's the victory in doing it anonymously?
Retards.
UMD Support? Does that mean you can load an UMD through wifi?
This app permits to access your psp from your pc via ftp, not the inverse... UMD support means you can now browse the inserted UMD.
Thanks very much. I understand now.
Does that mean one can use this to make their own backups?
Because I've bought a few games, and I've tried a few backup ISOs, and I'd like to support Sony whilst having the benefits of longer battery life/faster loading times.
Just installed the old version and some minutes later this one showed up.
Thank you!
How do you make FileZilla Go to UMD????
UMD browsing doesnt work with GTA at least
I've tried all my umds this siht doesn't work
how you view the umd directory arrgghh!
I have used PSP-FTPD often instead of looking for the USB cable, plugging it in, etc. and found it to be a great program. But now an amazing homebrew application just got better with the ability to browse UMD.
I highly recommend the app and has found it's way onto all of my memorysticks (the USB cable can stay with the MP3 player ;) )
I have tested it and it does browse UMDs (even GTA:LC post #9 ;) )...
There's a readme with the files for a reason. Figure out what that reason is and you'll do fine.
Use a real FTP program instead if of a web browser or plugin. That might be why a lot of you are having connection problems/timing out. It's not the reason why you can't see your UMD however, that info is in the readme.
Download the app.
Remove it from the zip file.
Move the corresponding "__SCE__psp-ftpd" & "%f__SCE__psp-ftpd" folders to your PSP GAME folder
Edit the config file with notepad & remove the # from in front of:
#auth=umd:zx
#root=disc0:
#
#auth=ms:zx
#root=ms0:
& save the config file.
Run the App on your PSP.
It will ask you to select which connection to use.
It will then state "the ftp server is now running"
Then start internet explorer on PC & type:
ftp://192.168.1.10/ (or your equivelent PSP ISP No.)
It should then come up with your connection asking for a user id & password.
Type in the user id "umd" or "ms" (UMD=UMD Disc, MS=Root of memory stick) & the password "zx".
You should then be able to log on to your PSP & Browse your memory stick or your UMD depending on the user id you used.
It's fairly straight forward & a great app for having a look at those infamous UMD's.
Hope this helps
