Ookm is a very interesting dev. A lot of people think SCAM! but, he was one of the first and worked on the tool chain as 35 said. If it wasn't a scam this definately sucks. However, I agree, he should release the source. I don't think it's a scam as he refunded everyone

thank god the downgrade wasn't realised. ookm's work so far has been a total dis-service to PSP game devs and to sony by enabling people to downgrade for the sole purpose of playing pirated games and ISO's.
People are gonna say they don't pirate games and only want to use legal homebrew which is bull*****, but we all know that 95%+ of people who do downgrade are doing it for free games which ultimately will hurt the PSP as a console.
so good riddance to ookm and i give my thanks to the hacker who screwed him.

If the PSP fails its because of the way Sony handled it and the fact that the games themselves hardly carry the system.
PS2 is one of the most easily exploitable systems out there - the DS even easier - and you can easily see how big of a "failure" those two systems were.

this guy is full of s*** how do you know he returned the donations qj.net is just repeating what they read in Ookm's own blog and he was sopposed to be the only guy trying to help out ta-082(unfinished iso loader,fake downgrader)but he never realeased anything usefull, and as for his 1.5 to 1.0 downgrader he realeased a couple months ago you could only do it if your psp was originally a 1.0 he had the excuse that if you tried it on another psp it would brick did anyone notice he tried the same s*** with this sopposed downgrader.I myself give a thousand praises to Dark_Alex the only guy(besides the noobz team) that helped us out as for emulated 1.5 it starts everytime and does everything a regualar 1.5 psp does and the HEN rev.C starts almost on the frist try every time now and doen't take me more than 5 times now compared to like 20 from rev.A, so I think the downgrader was pretty useless anyways so good ridens.

And to all those who say "why don't you come up with a way to downgrade a PSP" I don't need to as I have a 1.5 and will never upgrade so why should I make something that would be of no use to me? I am currently working on improving on the n64 emulator so it will run Starfox and Smash Bros pretty well for my own use since those are the only games I liked on the n64. And it isn't that hard to do I thought it would from the amount of time and problems others have had with it, oh well. So I guess those 4 years of advanced collage computer courses are good for something.
P.S. my version even HAS SOUND. interesing idea for an emulator huh?
