PSPFiler

MediumGuage has been at it again trying to create one of the best PSP homebrew file management applications by releasing yet another version of the popular File Assistant alternative, his second release in just under a week. After a bit of patience with a painstaking Japanese changelog  we have managed to find out what has changed for PSP Filer v2.5, and we think you're gonna like it. The last release was pretty major with a lot of changes made to the UMD ripping function and version 2.5 is not different. Here's the changelog:

UMD ripping:
  • UMD ripping shows estimated remaining time
File management:
  • Shows empty space in flash devices
  • Added displayed information of devices
  • Cluster structural check
Binary Viewer:
  • File is attempted to be displayed even while it is still entering into memory
The addition of the utility which shows the amount of space in flash devices should prove useful for those running a version of a custom firmware such as Dark_Alex's latest 3.03 OE-A firmware release to let you know how much space you have left on your PSP's flash chip. Remember though, if the application runs in Japanese language just press select and then O to change it to English.
