Homebrew - GPSP v03/11/2008 - Image 1The anonymous Japanese coder that's been modding gpSP is back with an update for the PSP's GameBoy Advance homebrew emulator.

There seems to be a bit of a hitch in trying to jump onto some form of changelog though. No one seems to know what's new in this latest version - for now, we assume bug fixes and improvements (a staple in most any changelog). Of course, we could be wrong. We're also human. Dun dun dunnnn...

For all intents and purposes, the download archive does include a txt file (gpSP_mod-M33.txt), however, upon translation, it will give you the same as that of the previous versions, which is as follows:

gpSP_mod_m33.zip included in the EBOOT.PBP, CFW M33 only. PSP_LARGE_MEMORY option is enabled.

Currently, the following problems are identified, depending on your situation, please replace.

Regular Edition

  • 1.M33 to use extended memory to run the applications you use, 32M to load the Lomb

  • And crashes. (4M second half of the region can not be used?)

  • If used on 2.IR Shell, in a road crash Lomb.

  • The PSP-2000 expansion in the region are using the memory, because it can not be used.

M33 Version

  • 1. Extended memory at once M33 to run applications that use the M33 after the extended memory without specifying

    • We can use.

    • So, does not support the application may cause problems. The cause of the above 1.

  • 2. At the same time the use of plug-ins and crashes.

    • (PspStates Experiment, MacroFire, aute mute, etc.)

Notes:

  • PSP-1000, the problem does not occur.

  • Both use the same.

The folks at DCEmu are also having the same problem of pinpointing actual changes in this version, however, someone by the name speedvicio of says that "the only difference is the better translation of emulator menu and the presence of a executable for win to create font characters."

What is this for update??

I really dont understand a ***** about the changelog. (and im a programmer)

Just so you know, you can edit ms0:PSPGAMEgpSP_modsettingsenglish.msg with a text document and edit whatever the text says. I don't really want to complain whether this thing has anything or not. But... if the creator says it's an update for the better, than I'll just download it. (Then again... I modded my PSP... huh. :|)

QJ really should start concerning itself with quality content over quantity.

It seems as long as you mention 'PSP' in something news related it ends up here and a lot of the content really isn't scanned for quality control.

QJ needs to employ better baseline standards for it's news items I think in order to maintain a solid readership base.

Else if you can't understand half the ***** that's posted here, why would you bother reading it?

Site sponsors... please take note!!!

» People come here to complain about grammer

and each other, and call people newbs
and then tell QJ that they are wasting their (the readers) time.
You think you would have learned by now how it is around here.
The content is what is it. You being here TO complain is a statement enough of how good a job they are doing. If it was THAT bad, people would just go away.
