Chess Clock aka Game Clock PSP 1.1 - Image 1

Intriguing title, eh? This homebrew app from MK2K is an Analogue Chess/Game Clock Simulation for the PSP. It features two connected clocks, with each one containing the following:
  • a big clock pointer
  • a small clock pointer
  • a flag
  • a star-shaped wheel for activity indication
It also sports a 2D physics simulation on the flags. Meanwhile, the pointers are rotating by an estimated angle velocity, so it unfortunately does not feature the most accurate clocks around. Devs say it may vary by some seconds per hour.

Nonetheless, here's what's new in this version:
  • Ported from JGE++ to the Phoenix Game Engine (PGE)
  • Some graphical glitches on Slim PSPs and FW 4.xx+ resolved
  • Enhanced accuracy
If you're interested to find out more about Chess Clocks and their historical significance, among others, then do check out the readme. More app details are there as well.
