PSP Homebrew - Image 1Torch just let us know that he's done with v3.3 of his energy saving utility, Hold+. Version 3.3 fixes a bug that occasionally makes the battery icon disappear. It also adds a refinement to the method Hold+ uses to prevent accidental "suspend" states. See the changelog for the full details.

Changelog:
  • Fixed a bug where if the battery was low, and the Power LED was blinking, and you turned off the Hold switch exactly at the moment before the Power LED blinked, the problem of the dissappearing battery icon would occur.
  • The method of prevent accidental suspend has been changed back to adrahil's SysEvent method, instead of Booster's method which was used from v3.0, which was causing various problems as it worked by corrupting SysCon packets that contained the Power Switch On signal.

I understand that you don't enjoy all of our releases, mohf, but you have to understand that other readers might be interested in these programs.

Torch's Hold program is actually pretty popular, not to mention extremely useful. You should try it out, if you haven't already.

If you have and you still don't like it, there are plenty of other homebrew programs in dl.qj.net you can try.

I'd like to see you make a better app than this. I'm more than sure that you can't. So just stfu and gtfo, please.

And thanks to Torch for his wonderful plugin, it's really useful :)

» there are few Apps like this

There are some great homebrew applications and games made, but there are few like this one, which actually amplify the PSP's abilities and limitations instead of working within them.

with this program i am able to get over twice as much time listening to music, with the Fusa plugin i am able to plug my psp into my crappy old tv.

thanks Torch, for continuing to improve and support the plugin
