PSPdisp is a program package from JJS for your PSP to enable you to use your handheld as an additional monitor under Windows. Interestingly enough, it is able to give you an additional monitor with a 960x544 resolution, four times the area of the PSP display.
This program basically has four components working together. Explains the dev: ... on Windows, a display driver, an USB driver and the interface application which captures the screen, compresses it and sends it over USB to the PSP. On the PSP side there is an application that decompresses the frames and displays them. All settings are adjustable from the Windows side, the PSP really only acts as a passive display. For the requirements, this program works with either a slim or phat model running on CFW. So far, it's been reported to work on the following: 3.40-OEA, M33 version 3.52, 3.71, 3.90, 4.01, 5.00. We've also got a demo video here for you. You can check it out just after the changelog for v0.2. V0.2:

» WLAN might not be a good feature
It is too slow compared to USB. If I remember, USB is about 480mbit/s and PSP's wifi is only 11mbit/s.

It's a shame this doesn't support Linux. Are there any plans on that point for future versions?
It sounds pretty great, though. I'll try it out the next time I'm on a Windows system!

» cool, but unstable
I managed to install v0.2 (v0.1 didn't work at all) and it's cool and all, but it stops working after about 10 seconds of use. The display on the PSP freezes although I can still use the controls to move the mouse on the PC. The only way to make it work again is to close both the PC and PSP programs and re-open both. And 10s later it stops working again.
