UltraPandora Installer - Image 1UltraPandora Installer - Image 2

Marce82 has released a new version for his PSP homebrew app, UltraPandora Installer, now upping the version to 4.0.B. This program is essentially similar to any other Pandora installation app. It's got our favorite brews like Despertar del Cementario, Time Machine, and more.

Instructions for use are in the readme, which has both French and English versions. As always, do check it out before installing the brew for your handheld's safety. Oh, and there's also a whole bunch of screenshots posted over at our forums, which you can access by clicking on the Discuss link below. Enjoy.

Is everyone in the entire GD homebrew scene making Pandora installers??? Not to disrespect, but it seems like these things keep coming out... what are we up to now? 1,000,000,001? I thought it was easy enough to make a Pandora stick with Pandora itself...

I appologize. Thanks for your work and contribution... just seems like the homebrew scene has been so slow lately. Didn't mean to take it out on you.

Maybe they are just trying to make it so easy a chimp can install it. I have stopped uploading the newest versions to my site lol. The all in one made by Dark Alex works just fine with my hard moded battery.

I get that, but someone who can't even run DC7 to make an MMS isn't going to have much use for CFW anyways, because DC7 is much easier to install than 99.9% of the homebrew and prxs out there.

I've never understood why so many people have trouble with this stuff, its a pretty simple formula that almost all homebrew follows. If its an application or game, it goes under /PSP/GAME/ in its own folder.

If its a plugin (prx), doesn't matter where you put it on your MS as long as you specify the filepath in your VSH/GAME/POPS.txt files (which go into the /seplugins/ folder). Generally, the prxs are put in /seplugins/ for simplicity sake and to keep things organized.

Any plugin added to VSH.txt shows up on the XMB,

to GAME.txt shows up in game,

to POPS.txt shows up in PSX games.

each one of these files can only have 5 lines or it won't show up in recovery. Enable in recovery mode and that's it.

If there's a specific folder or file that's not installed in this manner, it will ALWAYS be specified in the readme. Otherwise, you don't even really need a readme, which is why some people don't include them.

There, I just explained how to install almost every homebrew there is, no need for chimp-friendly programs anymore.

Yes I agree with you all. V7 is the only one I use as well and it works the best. I hard moded my battery. I use it all the time. I would like to get into changing my boot screen. Anyone know of easy tut and sites for this?

 » hell no!

i don't get all these pandora installers either. i had to update a 3.40 to 4.01m33 last week: it was much faster to just run dax's despertar cementario v7 and then use the open source pandora battery app. much faster than deciding which of these other intallers to use and then going through the readme's...
so, good work, i guess, but no use at all.

» All of these custom pandora installers give me a headache

I make a p+mms the old fashioned way. All of these installers just make things more complicated.

» hardwoking coders makes lazy users

although this things make things so simple but it also makes people so lazy always being fed not knowing how it works.
I must admit back then I always wanted to do things manually but who cares doing it the easy way.
