Good news for the travel-savvy PSP owners, in case you're waiting for word on Deniska's latest MapThis! version. The coder is letting the guys know that the GPS navigation application's version 0.5 has recently been going through internal testing, and is almost ready for release. I used the arkon mount that attaches to a vent (came bundled with gpslim 236) |

Wooo hooo almost here :D
This week just gets better and better for us PSP Owners. NDS Emulator, PSPTube, and now this. Just keep coming.
this sure is nice...I wonder when will be released
all this month i been pimping my car and learning about psp gps functions and to surprise there will be a new version, yesssss!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
can anyone point me to a good gps receiver for the psp??
why am i loged in as destructed??????
your gay
get the psp one on ebay. i'm prtetty sure it works with it, it does int he video. I'm impressed beyond words. The only thing I'm willing to Jump up today
Will you have to have that GPS attachment for this to work????
no you don't. Because the psp is the most advance AI robot in this universe that can extract the air content in the surrounding area, and process and calculate the quanity of different types of molecules and determine your location by the precise differences in our atmosphere... therefore you don't need a GPS receiver.....
Sarcasm FTW!!
you idiot, he meant do you need the PSP-290 for this program to work. The answer is no, you can use other receivers, check Deniska's webiste for details.
where i can download maps for this i don't want to make maps my self it's too hard and that size is too high!!
One day... MapThis! will be the ultimate GPS app ever to be created, it owns so much by itself right now, and now the 3D crazyness is just going to make it tha tmuch better. Getting maps right now are pretty simple, I wonder if tihis will make it any more complicated.
NeedMapsForDownload to downlaod maps for the psp you can downlaod GMDL this is the link
http://www.in7ane.com/psp/gmdl0.4.18a.zip
and this wiki helps you make maps
http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Map_This!
So the GPS receiver obviously works outside Japan... I never knew that. With the GPS receiver on the PSP, youll never get lost...
In short, is it more likely that I will have to make my own maps, or will I just be able to download maps for areas like NY?
Thats F'ing sweet
what about the unofficial gps?
