I've only tried the older version of this - and it was ok, but not Great. I hope this is much better.
By the way, can someone help me out please...
When i play mp3s on programs like this (and Tedzero and PSPChess) the song plays super fast... Any ideas why? And how can i fix this?

I hate this site it's so damn SLOW!!!

Actually you can customize the themes. Just replace the files in the "image/default" directory or create your own directory in the "image" directory.

The mp3 decoder that I use, I guess only supports 44Khz properly. I'm looking for an alternative mp3 decoder to implement.

Does any one know if it will work with v2.5? I just got my new unit and updated the system.

I don't know what the error with the picture viewer was before, but it seems to work somewhat now. I was able to bring up a jpg out of the PSP's image folder, though it wasn't as sharp as the Sony viewer. Dunno why, dunno if it could be corrected (haven't played with it that much).

This is my first time using this program and I'm pretty impressed. I'll have to explore more to see what the features are - I'm particularly interested to find out if there's a way to export address/calendar entries to the PSP... perhaps in vcf?

Anyway, kudos to the developer. I'm psyched to see where this goes. Now I really can't wait for that keyboard to come out (or for a USB hack to come out).

i've been using this app since there very first Public Release. and i gotta tell you at first i thought it was the stupidest idea EVER. but once i tried it i was hooked from the word GO this is a wonderful app and i definatly love the recently added Alarm suport. which you dont need to use the default sound incase you didn't know.

So yeah nice job guys now if only you guys made it so that we can customize the theme that would make this a PERFECT APP!!!

thanx again and i'll be waiting for your future updates.

 » textbackground.png?

First off, this is an exellent app! It justifies my buying a PSP instead of a PDA.

I really don't like the "cyan on white" color scheme for the Notepad. I'd much rather have "cyan on black"!

I've been taking a look at the SETTINGS.INI ("DO NOT EDIT") file, as well as the Image folder...

The Settings file appears to hold data on the current color scheme; however, making changes to the values for red green and blue (which can be done from the "View" menu) doesn't seem to effect the colors permanantly. The modified colors (when changed via "View" menu) DO get written to the SETTINGS.INI file, but don't ever seem to get read.

There is also a file in the Images/default folder called "textbackground.png" (which is a pure white 480x272). I would assume that this would be an actual background when entering text into Notepad. However, changing this theme file has no effect what-so-ever.

SO, to sum up... Rob_PSP: is this a view into "things to come"? I really hope so, being able to change color schemes would be great; and being able to have a background image in notepad would be awesome!
Keep up the good work...

PS: I'm not a C programmer, but I'd like to know what version of C you used to make this program... perhaps I could fix the "not reading SETTINGS.INI" problem.
