Puyo Pop Fever - Image 1


It's been a while since we last heard about PSP Player, the currently-in-development PlayStation Portable emulator for PCs. It seems that coder ben.vanik has made some pretty big strides in the project, though.

The emulator is now able to load Puyo Pop Fever (known in Japan as Puyo Puyo Fever) albeit not perfectly. According to the developer, the emulator can get in-game, but there are still some problems since only every tenth frame of the game or so is drawn.

Earlier this year, ben.vanik was also able to run Every Extend Extra using PSP Player. Apart from a few rendering glitches, the coder says that game works great. Since Every Extend Extra is the first 3D game working on PSP Player, here's a video of it in action:
