PSP Wave Changer - Image 1

Akez has released a wave changer for all you wave fans to try and use. Called PSP Wave Changer v1.0, this application allows you to flash your own wave types to the PSP.

Akez mentions that PSP Wave Changer has been tested on 3.52 M33-2 firmware, so Akez isn't sure whether it'll work on other firmware types. That being said, you're still free to try flashing waves of your own using this application.

There is one bug though, which he notes in his readme: "If the up and down keys are pressed around 20-30 times errors should fill the screen and the psp freezes if Home is pressed. If this happens it is best to restart PSP Theme Changer and try not to press up and down too many times."

In any case, make sure you check his readme for additional information on installing and using the application. Note that since this application flashes your PSP, there will always be a chance of bricking when you use it. That being said, we urge caution when using apps of this kind.

Any decent minded dev wouldn't release it with a bug like that. It doesn't sound too major, or too complicated to fix!

Ech.. a clone of the other 50 that we already have.

Oh, and you should NOT have released the app with a bug like that.

Fine, if it were an alpha and if it wasn't a flasher, but it's a flasher! It's a disaster waiting to happen.

Your error is probably stemming from not allocating enough memory or simply badly written code. I would give your code a SERIOUS comb-over before the next release, and don't go thinking that [the very small amount of] users in need of this will use it with a gaping hole like that.

[HONK] Oops, sorry, we were looking for "Something decent"!
