Ah. First off let me just say that this Weekend Warrior is a particularly short one. But hey, we still heard some good PSP news over the week. Konami's finally announced that they're working on English demos for Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, and for those that can read Japanese there's a God Eater demo on the way. Best news so far this week for me, though, is BlazBlue PSP. I am SO looking forward to throwing down some Fuurinkazans on the go. Just like commenter ZackFair, I hope it's Continuum Shift and not the original. The Hardware: The Games:

» CFW Day
Today, I did some major firmware updates.
I downgraded my PSP firmware from 5.50 GEN-D2 to 5.50 GEN-B while using iRShell accidentally. I updated to 5.50 GEN-D then updated to 5.50 GEN-D2. I then tested the glitch. I went back to 5.50 GEN-B. I updated to 5.50 GEN-D then to 5.50 GEN-D2 Then I downgraded to 5.00 M33-6. After that, I updated to Version 5.03(OFW 5.03). I used chickHEN(Homebrew Enabler) R2(Revision 2) then used CFWE(Custom Firmware Enabler) v3.6 and got 5.00 MHU(My Homebrew Unit). I then rebooted my PSP and went back to Version 5.03. I went to use chickHEN then after that I gained 5.03 MHU. Then, I updated to 5.00 M33-6. After that, I went to 5.50 GEN-A. Then I updated to 5.50 GEN-B, after which I updated to 5.50 GEN-B2. When all of that is over, I updated to 5.50 GEN-D and then 5.50 GEN-D2. And guess what? All that hassle just to experience the TIFF exploit in OFW 5.03. I have a new firmware timeline!
OFW 3.71>3.71 M33>OFW 3.80>3.80 M33>3.90 M33-2>5.00 M33-6>5.50 GEN-B>5.50 GEN-B2>5.50 GEN-D>5.50 GEN-D2>5.50 GEN-B>5.50 GEN-D>5.50 GEN-D2>5.50 GEN-B>5.50 GEN-D>5.50 GEN-D2>5.00 M33-6>OFW 5.03>5.03 ChickHEN R2>5.03 MHU>OFW 5.03>5.03 ChickHEN R2>5.03 MHU>5.00 M33-6>5.50 GEN-A>5.50 GEN-B>5.50 GEN-B2>5.50 GEN-D>5.50 GEN-D2
I was a bit shaky as my PSP's motherboard is TA085v2 which can be used with Pandora Battery but cannot make one. If you can understand all of the above, you are a genius. XD XD XD
