PSP XMB - Image 1

PSP homebrew developer Posion (aka poisonhzkj) has updated two of his powerhouse homebrew apps: CXMB and Hostcore, both of which are now compatible with custom firmware 5.00 M33! Woot! That's just about as much as there is in the changelog, but if you really want to be traditional about it, here are them bullet points:

CXMB v3.3:
  • add 5.0 capability.
HostCore v1.2:
  • add 5.00m33 support.
For those who haven't heard of CMXB and HostCore (shame on you!), CXMB allows you to easily tweak your XMB without having to go into the oh-so-sensitive flash0, while HostCore lets you access music, videos, and games on your PC via your PSP.

Excellent!, after upgrading to 4.00 M33, hostcore was non-functional. I wonder if I'll have to go to 5.00 M33 but either way...

Victory is ours!

Damn. It's such a confusing bast^rd. The usbhostFS.exe says "Connected to device" but when i select 'music' or 'photo' it brings up a whole bunch of crap in the window showing where all my files are located but then says "(no such file or directory)". Can this be close to simple as IrShell? It's kinda one of the reasons I didn't want to go to 5.00 M33, but I did anyway.
Is there a tutorial video for this?
